This policy covers the dividendincomeliving.com website, our email newsletter, and the Dividend Income Living publishing tool, the private software the channel owner uses to publish videos to the Dividend Income Living YouTube channel.

Who we are

Dividend Income Living is a YouTube channel that publishes educational content about dividend investing. You can reach us at dividendincomeliving@gmail.com.

This website

This website does not require an account, does not show ads, and does not use tracking cookies. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs, such as IP addresses and request times, for security and reliability.

Email newsletter

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. That is the only information the form collects, and we use it only to send you the newsletter.

• Subscriptions are processed by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email service provider, which stores subscriber emails on our behalf. Kit's own privacy policy applies to its processing: kit.com/privacy.
• We do not sell or share subscriber emails with anyone else.
• Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing removes you from the list; you can also email us to have your address deleted.

Affiliate links

Some outbound links on this website may be affiliate links, meaning the channel may earn a commission if you sign up for a service through them. Clicking such a link takes you to the third party's site, where their own privacy policy applies. The links themselves do not give us any personal information about you.

The publishing tool and Google user data

The publishing tool is used only by the channel owner (about the tool). It connects to the owner's own YouTube channel through Google sign-in (OAuth) and requests the following permissions:

• Upload YouTube videos: used to upload videos the channel produced to the channel's own account.
• Manage your YouTube account: used to set titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails and scheduled publish times on those uploads.
• View YouTube Analytics reports (read only): used to read the channel's own viewing statistics for a daily performance summary sent to the owner.

The tool accesses only the channel owner's account. It does not collect, store or process data about viewers, subscribers as individuals, or any other YouTube user.

How Google data is stored and shared

• OAuth tokens are stored in a configuration file on a private server controlled by the channel owner, with file permissions restricted to the operating account.
• Analytics figures are stored as aggregate channel totals (views, subscribers, watch time) to compute day-over-day changes.
• We do not sell, rent or share Google user data with any third party. We do not use it for advertising. No humans other than the channel owner read it.
• Data is retained only while the tool is in use. Revoking access (see below) immediately invalidates the stored tokens, and they are then deleted.

Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Revoking access

Access granted to the publishing tool can be revoked at any time from your Google account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
