Dividend Income Living runs its own private publishing software. This page describes that tool because it connects to YouTube through Google sign-in (OAuth).
Who uses it
The tool is operated only by the channel owner and is not offered to the public. It has a single user: the owner of the Dividend Income Living YouTube channel.
What it does
After the owner signs in with Google, the tool does three things on the owner's own channel:
Uploads finished videos produced by the channel.
Sets video metadata: titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails and scheduled publish times, and manages each upload's privacy status (private until the scheduled time, then public).
Reads the channel's own analytics (views, subscribers, watch time) to produce a daily performance summary for the owner.
Google permissions it requests
Upload YouTube videos (youtube.upload): uploads the channel's own videos.
Manage your YouTube account (youtube): sets metadata and scheduling on those uploads.
View YouTube Analytics reports (yt-analytics.readonly): reads the channel's own statistics, read only.
The tool never accesses, stores or interacts with any other person's YouTube account or data. It does not collect information about viewers or subscribers as individuals. How tokens and analytics figures are stored, and how to revoke access, is covered in the privacy policy.
